ME News Report, April 23 (UTC+8), the video platform Pornhub has suspended the use of USDT for creator revenue sharing, switching instead to USDC. In an email to creators, Pornhub stated that this change aims to make payout processes more reliable and emphasized that USDC is a fully reserve-backed, compliant stablecoin in accordance with the EU MiCA regulatory framework. Previously, after ending its partnership with PayPal in 2020, Pornhub introduced USDT and used the TronLink wallet to establish payment infrastructure. Following this switch, the aforementioned partnership has also been removed from its creator page. (Source: Foresight News)
