Iran's Foreign Minister and Qatar's Foreign Minister have a phone call to discuss regional developments.
ME News report, April 7 (UTC+8). On the 6th, Iran’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs issued a statement saying that Iranian Foreign Minister Alaghazi held a phone call with Qatar’s Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, Mohammed, to discuss the latest developments in the region, the consequences of U.S.-and-region aggression against Iran, and bilateral relations between Iran and Qatar. Alaghazi said that the current situation is entirely caused by military actions launched by the U.S. and Israel against Iran. Alaghazi also said that, under international law, countries have an obligation to prevent other countries from using their territory to carry out military operations against other countries, and he hopes that regional countries can work together to promote peace and security. According to a statement released by Qatar’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Qatar’s Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Mohammed urged all parties to respect international law and emphasized that a comprehensive and durable diplomatic solution is the only option to resolve the crisis.
