Lately, I've been hearing everyone talk about re-pledging and shared security, and honestly, I'm a bit cautious. The returns look quite attractive when stacked up, but the risks are stacking up too—just not shown on the dashboard: you might think you're earning more by sharing "the same security," but in reality, you're repeatedly betting on "the same fragility." If any layer of this process goes wrong—punishments, delayed unlocks, strategy changes... it's enough to give anyone a headache.
Another point is, recently, on-chain data tools and tagging systems have been criticized for being laggy or even misleading. That makes me even less willing to draw conclusions solely from dashboards. To put it plainly, no matter how beautiful the roadmap looks, it can't hide path dependency: I’d rather earn a little less and first figure out exit strategies and worst-case loss scenarios clearly. Anyway, for a lone wolf like me, living longer is more important than chasing excitement.
