I just realized something quite interesting about the nature of Ethereum – it truly doesn't force anyone to agree with any particular point of view. That’s its beauty.
Instead of being a top-down controlled system, Ethereum is designed with permissionless and censorship-resistant features. This means you can interact with the platform completely independently, regardless of what you believe, what issues you care about, or even your political views.
I see many people criticize certain applications, calling them 'corposlop' or something similar. But that’s not censorship – that’s just opinion. The distinction is very important. The platform doesn’t ban anyone, doesn’t prevent anyone; it simply allows everyone to exist and build what they want.
Looking back at the essence of Ethereum, it’s like Linux – a technology built to empower users. No one owns it, no one controls it. Different use cases can coexist, and that’s what makes it powerful.
Most importantly, it’s about freedom of speech. You have the right to criticize, to express your views, even if it might be controversial. The ecosystem will develop better when these values are respected.
