Recently, people keep asking me: why does on-chain data always "pause for a moment," even though my wallet has already changed. To put it simply, what you see is not the blockchain itself, but a result of intermediaries handling the data: some are queuing to sync, some are throttled because too many requests are made, and refreshing ten times only makes it slower... So don’t take the "instantaneous data" on a certain page as the truth, especially when you're emotional, it's easiest to misjudge.
By the way, the same goes for the NFT royalty water wars: everyone is arguing over the display and transaction speed in the secondary market, but underlying data delays, different platform standards, and so on, ultimately lead to the "world you see" being different. Anyway, my current approach is quite simple: check multiple sources, and if you're a bit slow, just be a bit slow—don’t be led around by the front end.
