My current approach is basically: small, frequent transactions all on L2 to save gas and worry less; when I really need to move positions around or deal with contracts that I only trust on the mainnet, I grit my teeth and do it on the mainnet once to get it done. Honestly, don’t fight with gas; the fees saved from cross-chain back and forth might end up being completely eaten by slippage and bridge waiting times.

Recently, I’ve seen everyone compare RWA, US bond yields, and on-chain yield products together, and I can’t help but laugh: the returns all seem similar, but the experience and risks are completely different things. Anyway, my compromise is: use L2 for daily activities, mainnet for critical actions, and don’t turn yourself into a “blockchain worker” just to save a few tens of dollars.
