ME News Report: On April 7 (UTC+8), Iran’s current Supreme Leader, Mujeh Tabar Hamenei, stated that Mujeh Tabar is currently seriously injured, in a coma, and receiving treatment for “severe” health conditions, making him unable to participate in any decisions of the regime. This memo obtained by The Times first disclosed the Supreme Leader’s location. The city of Qom, located 87 miles south of Tehran, is regarded as a holy site in Shia Islam. Although U.S. and Israeli intelligence agencies previously claimed that they had his whereabouts, with the final ultimatum deadline set by Trump approaching, the power vacuum among Iran’s top leadership undoubtedly adds significant uncertainty to the current turmoil in the Persian Gulf.
