ME News, April 22 (UTC+8). According to Beating Monitoring, OpenAI is collaborating with consulting firms such as Accenture, Capgemini, and PwC to sell its AI programming tool Codex to enterprise clients. This is OpenAI’s latest move to cut back on “side projects” and focus on programming and the enterprise market. OpenAI also announced that Codex’s weekly active users have reached 4 million, up significantly from 3 million two weeks ago and 2 million last month. To advance this partnership plan, OpenAI has hired former Google Cloud executive Colleen Kapase as Vice President of Global Partnerships and Ecosystem. Denise Dresser, OpenAI’s Chief Revenue Officer, said that partners will not only help clients update their code, but will also introduce Codex and its Agent development platform Frontier into non-research-and-development knowledge work fields such as marketing, finance, and sales.
