These past few days, there’s been a whole flood of memes and celebrities calling for trades, and it’s starting to wear me out… The moment my attention shifts, the group’s mood drifts along with it, and it’s really easy to get antsy and reach for “the last baton.” My current clumsy workaround is: when I see a trending hot topic, I don’t open it right away—I ask myself one question first: “Three days from now, would I still be willing to hold on to this?” If not, I just treat it like I never saw it. After all, I reconcile things and keep urging votes in the DAO every day, so I know one thing for sure: excitement can pull people off course, but the process won’t take the risk for you. Chasing fewer hot spots actually makes things easier. I’m tired, but I’m still here—so for now, I’ll do it this way.
