Sun Yuchen: Has filed a lawsuit against World Liberty Financial in the Federal Court of California
Odaily Planet Daily News: Sun Yuchen posted on the X platform stating that he has filed a lawsuit against World Liberty Financial in the Federal Court of California to protect his legal rights as a $WLFI token holder. Sun Yuchen pointed out that he has always been and remains a firm supporter of President Trump and his administration’s efforts to make the United States a crypto-friendly country. This lawsuit will not change his views on President Trump or the Trump administration. Unfortunately, some individuals within the World Liberty project team operate the project in ways that contradict President Trump’s values; they wrongly froze all of his tokens, deprived him of voting rights on governance proposals, and threatened to permanently destroy his tokens by “burning” them—all without any legitimate reason. He believes that if President Trump knew about these actions, he would not tolerate them. Sun Yuchen also stated that he has made good-faith efforts to resolve this issue with the World Liberty project team without resorting to litigation, but the team refused his requests to unfreeze the tokens and restore his rights as a token holder, leaving him no choice but to seek help from the courts.
