If ultimately appointed as Federal Reserve Chair, I will be an independent decision-maker.” Woorh said in response to Louisiana Senator John Kennedy’s question that he would never become the president’s “puppet.” Woorh also stated that Trump did not ask him to make any commitments regarding certain interest rate decisions.
