Trump says that apart from the nuclear issue, the U.S. and Iran have reached agreement on "most issues"

ME News report: On April 12 (UTC+8), U.S. President Donald Trump posted on a social media platform saying that the U.S.-Iran talks have “reached consensus on most issues,” but they failed to reach consensus on the key issue of “nuclear matters.” Trump said the U.S. has received a briefing on the relevant talks; the talks lasted about 20 hours, but Iran “is unwilling to give up its nuclear ambitions.” Trump said the U.S. will continue to push for negotiations, but has also “made comprehensive preparations.” He reiterated that Iran “will never possess nuclear weapons.” (Source: PANews)
