SpaceX's prospectus discloses executive compensation, with Musk taking a symbolic salary
ME News Report, April 21 (UTC+8), according to Reuters, SpaceX’s prospectus shows that President Gwynne Shotwell’s total compensation last year reached $85.8 million, placing her among the highest-paid executives in the United States. Shotwell also serves as Chief Operating Officer, with a base salary of $1 million, while most of her compensation comes from stock options and awards. The prospectus summary indicates that Chief Financial Officer Bret Johnson’s total compensation was $9.8 million; meanwhile, as SpaceX’s major shareholder, CEO Elon Musk paid himself a salary of only $54,080.
