These days, whenever the hot topic changes, I start to feel a bit tense.

Staring at the screen until my eyes hurt and not wanting to close the page.
The attention economy really treats people like batteries...
I'm doing the opposite now: the more everyone is shouting "new narrative," the more I go to look at the most boring parts—who holds the permissions, whether it can be upgraded, whether the oracle is a single point of failure.
Honestly, projects that can change rules with one click, no matter how fancy they sound, are easily just trying to harvest traffic.

Recently, on-chain data tools and tagging systems have been criticized for being laggy or misleading.
I think that's quite normal—tags are just people applying them, and when in a hurry, people tend to tag randomly.
Anyway, I don’t treat tags as sacred commands, just as a reminder that "there might be an issue."
If I really want to act, I at least open the contract or transaction records to take a look.
Otherwise, every hot topic rotation feels like being led around, and after the profit-taking, you think it’s because you’re slow.
That’s all for now, going to stretch my neck a bit.
