📰 【A certain whale actively bought aEthWETH to earn an arbitrage profit of 143 ETH, worth about $330k】
BlockBeats news, April 21, according to EmberCN monitoring, a whale address 0x8ad profited 143 ETH, worth about $330k, by actively buying aEthWETH (Aave ETH deposit receipt). In the past 13 hours, this address withdrew 13,000 ETH (worth $30 million) from a trading platform, then exchanged for 13,143 aEthWETH and used these aEthWETH to repay its ETH loan on the Aave platform at a 1:1 ratio.
These whales are at it again with arbitrage—143 ETH in 13 hours, $330k in hand. Retail traders are still studying candlestick charts, but they’re already playing with deposit receipts and loans to make everything happen. This kind of opportunity can’t be found just by watching the order book—you have to understand the protocol mechanics. In the $ETH ecosystem, arbitrage space like this always exists, but the barrier is too high; ordinary people can’t even figure out what aEthWETH is. 👇👇👇👇👇
