Recently, seeing liquidation screenshots makes me start sweating again... To put it simply, you think you're fighting the market, but sometimes you're actually fighting the "one-second world" of the oracle. When the price feed is delayed, the on-chain price hasn't been updated yet, and your position is like stepping on a loose tile: the trigger didn't activate when it should have, and you're liquidated before you can stop out. The worst part is watching the price rebound outside, while on-chain it's still calculating with the old price, getting liquidated—purely a lesson in time lag.

Before I open leverage now, I make it a habit to check the feed update frequency and whether there's been any lag recently—I'd rather earn less than gamble on those few seconds. The same logic applies to the inflation + studio + coin price spiral in blockchain games: the delay period when data/price "still looks okay" is often the pre-shock warning, so don't trust the dashboard too much.
