A person's disheveled appearance is often not just "laziness," but more likely a reflection of their internal state. Maintaining cleanliness and order requires a certain amount of mental energy and a stable inner feeling; when someone is exhausted, anxious, or mentally drained, they instinctively enter a "low energy consumption mode," prioritizing their limited energy for basic functioning. As a result, simple tasks like bathing, tidying up, and cleaning can become heavy burdens. At this moment, rather than criticizing oneself or others, it’s better to understand that this is a form of self-protection during difficult times. If you are going through such a phase, there's no need to add to your inner struggle due to external judgments. First, accept yourself in the present moment; even if you are imperfect and a bit messy, it’s proof that you are trying to maintain your life. As your internal energy gradually recovers, external order will naturally return little by little.
