Cryptocurrency Infrastructure Provider Cobo Selected as a Key Enterprise Partner by the Hong Kong Financial Secretary

ME News Report, April 20 (UTC+8), digital asset custody and wallet infrastructure provider Cobo announced that it has been approved by the Hong Kong government to be selected as a key enterprise partner introduced by the Financial Secretary.
On April 20, in the presence of Hong Kong Financial Secretary Paul Chan and other government officials, Cobo COO Lily Z. King attended the signing ceremony and signed on behalf of the company, officially becoming a key enterprise partner of the Hong Kong SAR government.
Headquartered in Singapore, Cobo stated that it will establish a Northeast Asia regional headquarters in Hong Kong, with an expected total investment of over hundreds of millions of Hong Kong dollars by 2030, and will significantly expand the local team, recruiting blockchain, security, and AI professionals globally, continuously increasing investment in Hong Kong.
At the same time, Cobo also plans to promote the development of infrastructure related to Cobo Agentic Wallet in Hong Kong and to implement some research and development work related to the Google Agentic Payment (AP2) protocol, further supporting the development of Hong Kong’s fintech, digital assets, and AI industries.
