$ETH 4 Hour K-line Analysis
The reversal signal in the earlier stage’s bullish upward trend is already clearly showing: after the price formed a Weak High around 2440, it then continuously pulled back and broke below the key BOS breakout level of this upward move, while also forming a CHoCH trend-reversal structure—meaning it shifted from “higher highs and higher lows” to “lower highs and lower lows.” This indicates that bullish momentum has completely run out, and the short-term trend has entered a weak downward decline channel.
Current price: 2288. It is in a technical weak rebound phase after the sell-off. The most recent strong resistance above is the overlapping range between the earlier BOS level and the second rebound high of this downward rebound, at 2340-2360. This was the earlier bulls’ defensive position, but it has now turned into an area where selling pressure is concentrated. From the perspective of trading volume, the rebound’s volume has clearly shrunk, indicating that the bulls do not have enough capital to push the price through the resistance. The rebound height will be very limited; most likely, it will hit resistance and pull back below 2360.
Entry zone: 2340-2360. When the price rebounds into this resistance zone and shows stagnation signals (such as long upper wicks, or declining volume), enter.
Stop-loss level: 2390. It is right below the Weak High, filtering out false breakouts. The stop-loss range is controlled at 30-50 USD, so it will not be stopped out by normal price fluctuations.
Take-profit level: For the first target, look directly at 2180-2200, meaning the most recent liquidity support zone. When the price reaches this area, it will find support, so take profits by closing 70% of the position here. If the price subsequently breaks below 2160 in an effective way, the downside momentum will be released further, and the extended target can be set around the next support zone near 2040.
Additional note: If the price does not rebound to the entry zone and instead directly drops below 2260, give up this opportunity. Do not chase shorts—your risk-reward ratio for chasing shorts is too poor, and it’s not worth trading. Only when the price shorts at the resistance level after a rebound is it the most solid choice under the current structure.
