People with high levels of cognition often share a common trait: stable physical condition and abundant energy. Many people have never understood one thing in their lives: in the real world, physical fitness is the most fundamental underlying variable. It not only affects health but also directly influences your emotions, focus, willpower, and judgment. In other words, your physical state largely shapes your mental state, which in turn affects your way of thinking and even the course of your life. This is a repeatedly validated fact: when the body is chronically overextended, emotions are more prone to lose control, and decision-making becomes less accurate; when energy is abundant, people are clearer-headed, more stable, and more capable of execution. Unfortunately, most people focus on results but overlook this most basic prerequisite. From now on, treat your body as the most important "bottom-layer asset." Many problems you think need to be solved with willpower can actually be half-solved by starting with routines, diet, and physical fitness.
