According to Ember monitoring, due to the impact of hackers exploiting illegally minted rsETH to borrow large amounts of ETH on Aave, over 5.4 billion USD worth of assets have been urgently withdrawn from Aave for risk mitigation purposes. Among them, Sun Yuchen also retrieved his 65,584 ETH (worth approximately 154 million USD) on Aave. Meanwhile, a large influx of on-chain lending demand has entered other protocols like Spark. Driven by this, the ETH deposit interest rate on Spark once soared to 130% and is currently still around 18%.

Today, approximately 6.6 billion USD in funds have been withdrawn from Aave, half of which (about 3.3 billion USD) are stablecoins. Due to the massive outflow of funds, the borrowing and deposit interest rates on the Aave platform have both surged. Currently, the deposit interest rates for USDT and USDC have reached 13.4%, while borrowing rates have risen to 15%.
