The meme coins in the crypto world have collectively plummeted again—just days ago, meme coins like RAVE and LIGHT, which were trending and pumping the market, have today experienced sharp declines within 24 hours, leaving retail investors heartbroken.
I saw the signs of this correction early; small-cap meme coins rely purely on emotion and FOMO to pump, and after a fierce rally and high leverage, when profit-taking begins, it triggers chain reactions of liquidations. Plus, with low liquidity, big players sell off, retail investors can't keep up, and funds shift back to mainstream narratives.
Meme coins are a double-edged sword—exciting to play but don’t get too caught up and go all-in.
▶️ RAVE dropped over 96%, now at $0.98
RAVE surged 86 times earlier, with whales short squeezing to hype emotions. Now, a 96% crash immediately reveals its true nature—over-concentrated holdings and a liquidity cliff, a typical rocket to the sky followed by a free fall.
▶️ LIGHT fell over 36%, now at $0.153
LIGHT has no core narrative, just riding the small-cap hype. A 36% correction signals quick capital withdrawal. FOMO traders have already bailed, waiting for the next meme to ignite.
▶️ I Came on a Horse dropped over 34%, now at $0.0104
I Came on a Horse relies on Chinese memes and silly community hype. A 34% decline shows the hype has faded and funds are fleeing. Meme coins have short lifespans—if the next hot topic doesn’t follow up, it’ll cool off.
▶️ ORDI fell over 33%, now at $3.89
ORDI is a veteran in BRC20 tokens. A 33% correction indicates Bitcoin narrative is temporarily silent. Ordinals players need new inscriptions or Layer 2 catalysts; otherwise, the old story can’t sustain.
▶️ GIGGLE dropped over 33%, now at $31.65
GIGGLE is just a meme, and with a 33% decline, if the main players don’t defend, trend followers will exit. Meme tokens with poor liquidity will take profits and stop.
▶️ 4 fell over 25%, now at $0.0106
4 is a meme based on the number 4. A 25% drop isn’t the harshest but still painful. It’s a small-cap follow-up; main players offloading cause retail panic. Without a new meme, it just lays flat.
In summary, after the emotional thrill of the hype, you need to run when it’s over. Long-term success still depends on real stories.
