Former BCB Group CEO was robbed at knifepoint; the robber explicitly demanded cryptocurrency private keys.

ME News report, April 12 (UTC+8): Former BCB Group CEO and current Greater Things CEO Oliver von Landsberg-Sadie, along with his family, was robbed at knifepoint at their home in Maidenhead, Berkshire, on April 2. The four robbers bound his family members and explicitly demanded the keys to their cryptocurrency wallets. Oliver von Landsberg-Sadie said the robbers’ target was clearly cryptocurrency, and they were not interested in the Aston Martin parked in the driveway. Since he had no cryptocurrency assets, the robbers ultimately stole cash, silverware, and jewelry. Thames Valley Police is now investigating the case. Oliver later issued a warning to remind founders, CEOs, and other public figures in the crypto industry to be vigilant against such organized, targeted crimes and to strengthen personal security measures.
