Polymarket link briefly appeared in Google News and was then removed; Google responded that it was an incorrect push.
ME News, on April 12 (UTC+8), the link to the prediction market platform Polymarket briefly appeared in Google News search results, alongside mainstream media outlets such as Reuters and The Guardian, but was quickly removed. A Google spokesperson said this was an “error,” and the site has been taken out of the news section. Previously, when users searched for event-driven prediction questions, Polymarket’s listing would appear directly under traditional news organizations. In recent days, Polymarket and its competitor Kalshi have been actively pushing forward integration with media platforms. Last year, Google partnered with both platforms to include their data in Google Finance. In June this year, the X platform announced Polymarket as its official partner, and completed integrations in sequence with the crypto wallet MetaMask and World App under World. (Source: MLion)
