When I first got into the space, I truly thought that social mining meant: if you’re diligent, you’ll get rewards—daily check-ins, replying to posts to accumulate points, afraid of missing a single badge. But now I understand: points and status are mostly for filtering people. What the project teams want is screenshots of your activity—not for you to spend a whole day emptying it out to serve as free labor/operating for them. Anyway, I’d rather say a couple fewer things. I’ll occasionally check on-chain interactions to see whether it’s necessary—if I don’t have to, I won’t overdo it. Lately, Layer2 has been arguing nonstop over TPS, fees, and subsidies. I just want to say: don’t treat “the ecosystem being lively” as a reason you should clock in for work. The lively part is theirs; your time is yours.
