Night shift monitoring perpetuals, the biggest fear isn't big fluctuations, but the oracle feeding prices being half a beat slow. When the market needle drops, the order book has already bounced back, but the feeding price is still catching up behind, resulting in your margin being calculated at the "old world" prices, and the liquidation line being forcibly pushed closer. Sometimes you haven't even reacted before the system lifts you out... To put it simply, it's not that you're wrong about the direction, but the time lag pushes you out. Recently, there have been cross-chain bridge hacks again, and everyone is shouting "wait for confirmation." I can understand that—an abnormal oracle quote on the chain can really be life-threatening in those few minutes. There are many tutorials, but I prefer those that explain how to set stop-losses/reduce positions in extreme situations, and how to judge whether the feeding source is stuck. Fancy strategies are not my style; when emotions run high, I go wash my face first.
