Today the group chat has been flooded again. After someone like a certain KOL said, “the logical loop is closed,” right away a bunch of people rush in to follow along. Put simply, when there’s information overload, the first thing your brain “turns off” is “me.” So should you blame the group messages? The group is just like that—an excitement + anxiety factory. And KOLs are just like that too—what they talk about is viewpoints on the surface, but in reality it’s an amplifier of emotions. In the end, the ones who truly press the buy button are still you and me—these two hands.
Recently, all that criticism about re-staking, shared security, and that whole “yield stacking” routine gets called a “pyramid scheme,” and I don’t think the criticism is totally unfair. It looks like an extra layer of profit, but in reality it’s an extra layer of risk. Even the on-chain “gossip” has already told you—when something goes wrong, nobody’s responsible; all you get is “not financial advice.” So now when I see the group collectively hitting a high point, my first reaction is to put my phone face-down on the table and go pour a glass of water… forget it, let’s not talk about it for now. After all, the thing about impulsively hitting buy is never something messages can sign for you.
