When you encounter those who drain you, turning your back is often the most direct and effective way. Between people, there's no need to force resonance, nor is there a need for a dignified farewell. Not everyone is worth being invited into your life—those who can't enter your heart will only turn your life into a mess. Stay away from what should be avoided: people who cause your emotions to spiral out of control, those who habitually deny you, and those who only take without giving. There's no need for unnecessary softness, which is just feeding others' selfishness. No need to argue or explain. What you truly should do is not to cater or compromise, but to reclaim your time and energy and focus on yourself. Your life is valuable, and there's no time to waste on bad people and bad affairs. When you become truly strong, start to stand alone and take care of yourself, you'll realize that the best life stories are always written by yourself, stroke by stroke.
