Russian crypto exchange Grinex said it suffered a cyberattack in which it lost about 1 billion rubles (about 13 million US dollars) in funds and has suspended its trading services. It said the attack shows signs of involvement by “foreign special service agencies” and that it has handed the case over to law enforcement authorities for investigation. On-chain data shows about 15 million US dollars in USDT flowing out of the platform and being converted into ETH or TRX. The exchange was previously accused of having links to Garantex, which has been seized by the United States. (Decrypt)
