Polish cryptocurrency exchange Zonda states approximately 4,500 BTC cold wallet private keys have not been handed over, withdrawal is blocked
ME News Report, April 17 (UTC+8), Polish cryptocurrency exchange Zonda CEO Przemysław Kral announced that an address holds approximately 4,503 BTC (about $334 million). He stated that the private key for this cold wallet was not transferred by the founder and former CEO Sylwester Suszek during the company’s handover. Recently, Zonda has been questioned due to withdrawal delays and rumors of potential bankruptcy. The blockchain platform Recoveris previously triggered a concentrated withdrawal incident and stated that the company will take legal action and fulfill user withdrawal obligations. A Polish parliament member said that since Suszek went missing in 2022, Zonda may have lost access to this cold wallet. (Source: PANews)
