ME News Report, April 16 (UTC+8), Akash founder Greg Osuri stated that Cosmos management has adjusted the authorization method for a key component, resulting in Akash currently being unable to use it in production environments, for any commercial purposes, or to provide services to third parties based on that component. Greg Osuri said that when Akash previously announced plans to migrate to a shared security layer, they still intended to retain some Cosmos integration to at least maintain interoperability; but the new licensing terms make it nearly impossible for Akash to remain within the Cosmos ecosystem, and he described this as a “hostile” adjustment.
