I’m really stumped by myself. During airdrop season, it’s like I’m “working” nonstop, and the task platform keeps doing anti-witch-audit stuff every day. Then, the moment I want to file taxes or make a declaration, I suddenly go blank: my transaction records are scattered across exchanges, on-chain, and all kinds of secondary/alternate accounts’ wallets, and I can’t even find the screenshots… No wonder I’d lose my mind by the end of the year.

Later, I learned my lesson: every time I transfer funds, swap coins, or claim an airdrop, I make a quick note like “What is this for?” and then put the address and tx hash into a table. Don’t think it’s a hassle—when it’s time to reconcile everything, you’ll thank yourself.
Just now, I closed a whole bunch of dApp tabs in my browser that I hadn’t bothered to close before—symbolically saying goodbye to my past “whenever-I-feel-like-it bookkeeping”… Anyway, I don’t want to keep falling for my own traps anymore.
