Pure "ignorant happiness" is light but fragile, easily collapsing in the face of reality; pure "over-awareness" is rational but heavy, often losing joy in self-reflection. A more mature state is to find a switchable balance between the two: being able to stay present without overanalyzing and dissolving the experience, and also remaining alert when necessary, not being led by emotions and illusions.
