The US-Iran ceasefire extension is reported again to be delayed! A two-week buffer period—will the dawn of peace be real, or just a stalling tactic?

$BTC
On April 15, news reports said that insiders revealed the United States and Iran are considering extending the ceasefire agreement that expires on April 22 by two weeks, to allow more time for negotiations on a peace agreement.

Mediators are pushing forward technical talks. The core disputes directly hinge on two deadlocks: navigation through the Strait of Hormuz and Iran’s uranium enrichment activities. If they can reach an agreement, it could pave the way for high-level negotiations. However, U.S. officials have made it clear: there is no guarantee of a ceasefire extension yet. The U.S. has not officially agreed, and Iran’s Foreign Ministry has not responded for the time being.

For the crypto market, expectations of a delayed ceasefire continue to suppress war premiums, and safe-haven assets such as BTC face pressure in the short term. But since the negotiating deadlock has not been broken, geopolitical risks still hang overhead, and market sentiment continues to swing back and forth.
