Some U-card users received the CRS reporting notification from Fiat24 and need to submit tax information.
ME News Report, April 15 (UTC+8), according to a post by crypto KOL AB Kuai.Dong, and based on widespread community feedback, those who registered U-Cards with a passport last year have recently received CRS reporting synchronization notices from the upstream issuer of U-Cards, Fiat24. The email mentioned that, according to new regulatory requirements CRS/DAC8, all financial platforms are required to collect users’ tax residency information; failure to do so may result in account restrictions. Currently, only the upstream issuer Fiat24 for U-Cards is involved. Additional: CRS is an international tax information exchange, and China is a member. (Source: PANews)
