The so-called "gaslighting effect" is a highly covert form of psychological manipulation. It does not control others through force or commands, but by constantly creating false information, distorting existing facts, and repeatedly denying the other person's feelings and memories, causing them to gradually doubt their own perception. At first, it's just slight wavering, making you wonder if you remembered incorrectly or are too sensitive; but with ongoing influence, this doubt deepens until you no longer trust your own judgment, but rely on the other person to confirm "what is truly real." When someone loses trust in their own feelings and reality, the dominance over their thoughts and actions quietly shifts.
