【Btc Story】The Most Expensive Two Pizzas in History

Brothers, today I’m going to tell a story that gave the entire crypto community a heart attack.

In 2010, there was a programmer named Laszlo, one of Bitcoin’s early core developers. One day, he was hungry but didn’t want to order normal takeout — he wanted the whole thing.

He posted on the Bitcoin forum:

"Who can deliver two pizzas to me? Large ones, I’ll pay 10k Bitcoin."

Note, it’s ten thousand. 10k. Four zeros.

The post was up for four days, and no one paid attention. That’s normal; back then, Bitcoin was just a toy for geeks, and 10,000 BTC probably wasn’t worth more than your breakfast.

Until May 22nd, a guy from the UK couldn’t stand it anymore and helped him order two pizzas from Domino’s remotely, costing $25.

Laszlo received the pizzas, happily took a photo, and posted on the forum, saying: "Tastes pretty good."

$25. Two pizzas. 10,000 BTC. Deal done.

Now, open your trading app and check the current BTC price, then multiply by 10,000.

Done calculating?

Yes, that’s the most expensive pizza you’ve ever seen in your life.

Even more crazy — this guy didn’t just buy once. Over the next few months, he spent about 100,000 BTC on various things. One hundred thousand.

Later, a reporter asked him: Bro, do you regret it?

Laszlo said something very cool: "No regrets. If no one actually used BTC to buy stuff, it might have just been a toy forever."

In short, this guy proved with two pizzas that Bitcoin can be used as money. Without his purchase, the story might not even exist.

So every year on May 22nd, the crypto world celebrates "Pizza Day," commemorating this bold person who kicked off an era with the most expensive dinner in history.

Of course, you ask me what I learned from this story?

Don’t make decisions when you’re hungry!
