EIA raises oil price forecasts for the US and Brent crude for this year and next year

The EIA Short-Term Energy Outlook report indicates that in 2026, WTI crude oil prices are expected to be $87.41 per barrel, and Brent at $96.00 per barrel, both higher than previous forecasts. The prices for WTI and Brent in 2027 have also been revised upward to $72.43 and $76.09, respectively.

ME News update: On April 8 (UTC+8), the EIA Short-Term Energy Outlook report said it expects the 2026 WTI crude oil price to be $87.41 per barrel, previously expected to be $73.61 per barrel. It expects the 2027 WTI crude oil price to be $72.43 per barrel, previously expected to be $60.81 per barrel. It expects the 2026 Brent price to be $96.00 per barrel, previously expected to be $78.84 per barrel.
