Gartner predicts: By 2030, spending on supply chain software with intelligent agent AI will reach $53 billion.
ME News update, April 7 (UTC+8). Gartner recently predicted that by 2030, spending on supply chain management software with agentic AI capabilities will grow to $53 billion. This growth is mainly driven by enterprises’ need to address increasingly complex global supply chain challenges, improve resilience, and increase efficiency. Agentic AI can autonomously carry out tasks, make decisions, and interact with systems, thereby optimizing key areas such as inventory management, demand forecasting, logistics coordination, and risk mitigation. Gartner noted that although many supply chain software solutions today already embed basic AI capabilities, over the next decade, agentic AI with advanced autonomous capabilities will become the mainstream investment direction, driving supply chain operations toward greater automation and intelligence.
