ME News report, April 4 (UTC+8). An Israeli official and another person with knowledge of the matter told Axios that among the two crew members of a U.S. Air Force fighter jet that was shot down over Iran, one has already been found by U.S. special forces and was successfully rescued, while the other is still being searched for. Iran is also searching for the two crew members and calling on local civilians to participate in the search. This marks the first time since the start of the war that a U.S. military aircraft has been shot down by enemy fire. Sources say that after the F-15 fighter was hit by Iranian fire, both crew members successfully ejected and escaped. U.S. special forces have located one of the crew members inside Iran and have rescued him alive. (Jin10) (Source: ODAILY)
