Many people hear that turning 5,000 USD into 500,000 USD is impossible, and their first reaction is: No way.

But after being in the crypto space for a while, you'll realize that it's not impossible—most people just can't do it.
Back in March, I had a friend who did exactly that and ended up making over 1.2 million USD.
I asked him how he did it, and he told me one thing:
5000 USD is not the principal, it's the first stepping stone.
It sounds impressive, but behind it all is risk management.
In the beginning, turning 5,000 USD into 20,000 USD, he was very cautious.
He only used 10% of his capital per trade, which is 500 USD.
Using 10x leverage to catch the trend.
If he lost 50 USD, he would stop; if the market moved in his favor, he could make about 20%.
Gradually, the account grew, quickly reaching 20,000 USD.
After surpassing 20,000 USD, he actually lowered his leverage to 5x.
He increased his position size to 20%.
And he has a very counterintuitive habit—
As soon as he profits 10%, he immediately moves his stop-loss to break-even.
The idea is simple:
Either keep earning from this trade or cut losses at cost.
When the market moves later, the funds grow very quickly.
After reaching 100,000 USD, he became even more cautious.
He allocates 30% to BTC for defense, and the rest is split into main coins like ETH and SOL.
He takes small bites on each trade,
Stop-loss at 3%, take profit at 5%.
It may sound dull, but the account gradually grows.
I asked him what kind of market he fears most, and he said it's not a crash, but a lack of discipline.
He always remembers three rules:
Use 500 USD as if it were 50 USD.
Don’t trade BTC unless it’s stable.
Take out 20% profit every month.
Many people in crypto aren’t unable to make money—they just can’t hold onto it after earning.
Ultimately, trading isn’t about who has the biggest guts, but who can survive the longest.
If your account is still in the thousands or tens of thousands stage, don’t rush to double it; focus on stabilizing your rhythm.
I’ve also stepped into all the pitfalls myself.
