ChainCatcher message: Arkham analyst Emmett Gallic posted on the X platform that in the latest filing, the cryptocurrency exchange Gemini disclosed that as of December 31, 2025, it still has 4,619 BTC in outstanding loans to its affiliate, Winklevoss Capital, which is approximately $314 million at current prices. The filing shows that this type of loan carries an annual interest rate of 4%–8%, has no fixed maturity date, but the lender may request repayment at any time after providing written notice.
Gemini’s historical cumulative totals show that it has previously borrowed more than 1.1万 BTC and 13.3万 ETH from Winklevoss Capital.
