$BTC The US Secretary of Defense's broker, Pete Hegseth, attempted to invest millions of dollars in a BlackRock defense ETF before the strike on Iran.

The deal did not go through because the ETF was not available to Morgan Stanley clients at that time.

The Pentagon stated that the information is "completely false."
