Aave Labs has published an ARFC proposal on the Aave governance forum proposing the activation of Aave V4 on Ethereum mainnet. The proposal plans for initial deployment through conservative risk parameters and a Hub and Spoke configuration. The initial deployment of Aave V4 includes 3 liquidity hubs (Core, Prime, and Plus) and 10 spokes, with liquidity hubs holding shared liquidity, and spokes defining independent lending environments and being subject to governance boundaries. The proposal is currently in the community feedback phase, and will subsequently advance to the Snapshot voting and AIP deployment stages.
