The entire Pi project, as a massive social experiment, is now faced with two major propositions: one is idealism, with no capital involvement, a utopian-like ecology; the other is realism, allowing capital to intervene, enabling retail investors to pursue profits—brutal natural selection, where only the strongest survive as long as they can withstand the market's baptism. The no-capital involvement idealism is also one of the core principles of Web3.0. The clash between idealism and realism requires time to validate. The former looks to the future, as revolutionaries and pioneers; the latter focuses on surviving in the current market before talking about the future. Both philosophies are completely different, with no right or wrong—each has its own solid core, and it all comes down to choice. Web3 is actually an extreme form of idealism. Many people chase the hype to ride the wave, but in reality, it's all speculation. Although I am a realist, I also have to show some respect.
