Both major memory-chip giants rose, with SK hynix (SKHY) up nearly 2%, and Samsung Electronics up nearly 3%. As of the time of writing, the Nikkei 225 index was up 0.50%, and the South Korea composite index was up 0.56%.

Short-term top: it stabbed through the previous high, but it didn’t immediately show increased volume—within 1 hour it formed the top. Make a small trade first; treat it as a pullback for now.

Nomura initiates coverage on CXMT with a 116 yuan target (about 7.76T yuan mkt cap) and a 20x P/E, roughly double Micron’s. This could signal strong upside expectations for memory tech among large-cap buyers. $CXMT
