Demo trading account: practice without registration and real risks
If you’re just starting your journey in cryptocurrency trading, the demo account will be your ideal platform for experimentation. It is a fully functional trading account with virtual assets that allows you to practice trading skills without risking your own funds. The main advantage is that the demo account is available without additional verification or registration (a regular account is sufficient), so you can start practicing right now.
What a demo account offers beginners
A demo trading account replicates real market conditions in a safe environment. You receive virtual assets and can make trades as you would on a real account, but without financial losses. It is an ideal tool to:
The main difference between a demo account and other training methods is the use of current market data. All prices update in real time according to the main platform, providing an experience as close to reality as possible.
How to start practicing with a demo account
You don’t need to manually create a separate demo account — it is automatically available to all users when creating a main profile. To switch to the demo account:
On the website:
Hover over the profile icon in the top right corner of the screen and select “Demo Trading.” That’s it — you are now in demo mode.
In the mobile app:
Go to the profile settings section and activate the demo trading mode. The platform will immediately switch to the demo account.
How to return to real trading:
Click the “Start Real-Time Trading” button (it will be visible in the same menu or in the corner of the trading page).
Switching between a real account and a demo account takes just a few seconds — the process is fully intuitive.
Supported products and features
The demo account uses the platform’s unified trading architecture, supporting almost all main functions:
However, features outside the core trading architecture (such as staking, farming, or other financial services) are not available on the demo account. This restriction is intentional — the demo account is designed specifically for learning trading in real market conditions.
Assets on the demo account: how much and how to top up
When you activate the demo account for the first time, the platform automatically credits you with virtual assets:
This is enough for most trading scenarios and strategies. However, if the total demo account balance drops below 10,000 USDT, you can request additional assets at any time. Simply click the “Request Demo Funds” button on the demo account assets page.
Important clarification:
You can only top up these four assets (USDT, USDC, BTC, and ETH). But you are free to trade other cryptocurrencies on the spot market — just exchange demo assets via spot trading.
If your demo account balance exceeds 10,000 USDT, the top-up button will be unavailable until the balance drops below the limit.
How the demo account updates and resets
Can I manually reset the demo account?
No, you cannot reset it yourself. However, the system does so automatically: if you do not use the demo account for 30 days, the platform will reinitialize the account, deleting all data and restoring the initial balance.
Validity period:
The demo account has no expiration date. It remains active as long as your main profile exists. You can practice endlessly, returning to demo mode at any time to test new tactics.
Demo account vs testnet: what’s the difference
Many confuse the demo account with the testnet, although these are completely different tools:
Practical tip:
If you want to learn trading, use the demo account. If you are a developer testing API or new platform features before launch, then the testnet is what you need.
Frequently Asked Questions: KYC, verification, and withdrawals
Is KYC verification required for the demo account?
No. The demo account is available without identity verification. You can start training immediately after logging into your main profile.
Can I withdraw funds from the demo account?
No. All assets on the demo account are virtual and intended solely for training. Withdrawal is not possible. When you’re ready to trade with real money, you need to switch to the main account.
Does the demo account work on sub-accounts?
Yes, demo accounts are supported on sub-accounts. However, the sub-account demo account is separate from the main account’s demo account, so balances and trading history are not synchronized.
How do I know I am using the demo account?
Next to the account name at the top of the screen, there will be a label “Demo Trading.” This visual indicator helps you distinguish the demo account from the real one.
Can I log directly into the demo account without a main account?
No. You must first log into your main profile or sub-account, then switch to the demo account. Direct access to the demo account is not provided.
How to adjust demo funds?
Go to the Assets page of the Unified trading architecture in demo mode. There, you can manage the distribution of virtual assets between different trading types (spot and derivatives).
Practical application of the demo account
Demo trading without additional registration data gives you the freedom to experiment. Here are some usage scenarios:
For beginners:
Learn the platform interface, understand how market and limit orders work, practice reading charts.
For experienced traders:
Test new strategies, verify ideas on historical data, practice reacting to volatility.
For developers:
Test API integrations, verify the correctness of automated trading algorithms, debug bots.
For stress testing:
Try trading with maximum leverage (in derivatives trading), understand risks, and see how quickly capital can be lost.
The main benefit — the demo account gives you time to learn without financial penalties for mistakes. Make errors in demo mode, learn from real data, and only then move on to real capital.
