Gateway already covers 12 major public chains and will continue to expand in the future, reducing the barriers to multi-chain deployment.

【Chain News】Circle Gateway’s cross-chain solution has new developments—Solana network has now joined the supported ecosystem. For developers, this means they can directly integrate trustless cross-chain USDC through this set of tools, quickly accessing liquidity in DeFi protocols, payment settlements, fund management, and other scenarios, without worrying about the complexities of cross-chain bridges.

Currently, Gateway covers 12 mainstream public chains, including Arbitrum, Avalanche, Base, Ethereum, Polygon, Solana, and others, basically covering the major ecosystems in the market. The official statement indicates that they will continue to expand to more networks, which means the availability and convenience of cross-chain USDC are continuously improving. Huh? Solana has been added? I thought we would have to wait another half a year. Circle's system finally has some use; cross-chain USDC was really a pain before. Now there are 12 chains... almost fully covered, feels like the endgame is here. Hopefully, new projects won't have to go through such trouble to integrate anymore.

Solana is getting on board, Circle is playing a big game, deploying 12 public chains directly. The efficiency is truly remarkable. But to be honest, the competition in cross-chain USDC is getting more intense, it will depend on how they maintain the ecosystem moving forward. With 12 chains and still expanding, it seems like Circle is aiming for a unified ecosystem. Developers are probably thrilled, finally no more struggling with the mess of bridging code. Polygon and Solana together cover most mainstream ecosystems, this layout is quite impressive.

The SOL ecosystem has finally caught up; it was about time. The Gateway system indeed solves many pain points. Multi-chain deployment no longer has to be so troublesome.
