#以太坊技术升级 Seeing Vitalik's latest updates on ZK-EVM and PeerDAS, I am reminded of a saying: no matter how advanced the technology, it still needs time to verify its security.
This update is indeed exciting—Ethereum is attempting to address the classic trilemma of decentralization, consensus mechanism, and high throughput simultaneously. From the phased roadmap starting in 2026, this is not a castle in the air but a practical plan supported by concrete code. But I want to remind everyone that such technological upgrades can take 4-6 years, during which there will be countless tests, adjustments, and even rollbacks.
As long-term investors, we should not be excited by short-term technical highlights. Instead, we should ask ourselves a few questions: When these upgrades are finally implemented, what will the market environment look like? Can my asset allocation withstand the fluctuations during this waiting period? Is my position size reasonable enough to handle potential issues during the testing phase?
The maturity of technology takes time, and so does our mindset. Rather than chasing every progress, it’s better to understand your risk boundaries well, and use prudent position management and thorough security education to embrace these innovations that could change the industry.
