Since its founding in 2018, Dusk Network has been doing one thing—redefining the possibilities of regulated finance with blockchain technology. As a Layer 1 public chain built specifically for institutions and compliant DeFi, it takes a somewhat "alternative" approach: it aims for privacy protection while also subjecting itself to regulatory scrutiny. This may sound contradictory, but Dusk achieves it through a modular architecture, which industry calls "compliant privacy." Compared to privacy chains that pursue complete anonymity, Dusk’s differentiated advantage stands out particularly in the traditional finance and on-chain asset sectors.

The beginning of 2026 brought many surprises to the market. In the second week of January, the DuskEVM mainnet officially launched. The most remarkable aspect of this infrastructure layer is that it is fully compatible with Ethereum’s EVM, allowing developers to deploy existing Solidity smart contracts directly without starting from scratch, while also benefiting from Dusk’s underlying privacy and compliance features. In other words, migration costs are minimized, which is a real benefit for institutions and developers. Once DuskEVM went live, the entire DeFi ecosystem and RWA (Real-World Asset) applications’ potential expanded significantly, attracting attention from many Ethereum-based projects and institutional developers.
